Delighted to announce that today, Verteil Technologies Private Limited was granted “Airline Retailing Maturity” status as a System Provider for its airline retailing-based solution VDC (Verteil Direct Connect), under ARM index Program. IATA provides the only official industry index program in support of the Enhanced and Simplified Distribution standards: the Airline Retailing Maturity (ARM) index.
This designation recognizes that the VDC (Verteil Direct Connect) supports deployments using Shop/Order/Pay capabilities which are compliant with the standard Enhanced and Simplified Distribution message schema, version 17.2 and the ARM index Capabilities Verification Guidance.
As we navigate these difficult times, it is necessary for the travel agency community to realise that the relevance of NDC has increased. The wheels are set in motion for the biggest technology transformation in aviation distribution, even in the face of this pandemic situation & travel agencies must get ready to adopt new digital distribution models so that they continue to be relevant to their end customers from a content and experience perspective. This seminar highlighted the need for travel trade to adopt new technologies so that they retain and enhance their competitive edge in these changing times.
