お客様から取得した個人情報は、当社からのご連絡や業務のご案内やご質問に対する回答として、電子メールや資料ご送付のために利用いたします。

Founders Note

Jerrin
Satheesh
Verteil’s founders, Jerrin Jos and Satheesh Satchit, have over two decades of experience developing new generation Passenger Service Systems (PSS) for the airlines industry.

Initially, they were involved with developing systems within the traditional airlines Global Distribution System (GDS) framework, which is a text and numbers only system that uses decades old EDIFACT protocol. This period helped them realise that there were serious limitations to the GDS, particularly in terms of content, ancillary services and any other information that passes between air service providers and travel agents.

An ancillary service often provides a great revenue channel for airlines if journeys could be personalised. But with GDS, personalisation and customization were quite restricted, not just for the passenger but also for travel agents. Less options for meal selections, a requirement for agents to strictly adhere to guidelines or else incur hefty penalties and time lost in ticket confirmation were just some of the issues plaguing the industry. 

With the arrival of IATAs New Distribution Capability (NDC) in 2014, a protocol that permits us to engineer products and services that are delivered over the internet, the Founders decided that the time was right to carve out a path that would harness the potentialities of this new wave technology.

Thus, Verteil was founded in Kochi, Kerala in 2016, as a premier airlines retailer that provides an integrated and efficient travel experience with flights and ancillaries, easing the strain on passengers and agents alike. Using the prowess of NDC, Jerrin and Satheesh are spearheading a movement in the airlines industry that is set to revolutionise its retailing sector, opening integrated revenue streams for the airlines industry, and creating a wholesome, one-stop experience for users.
